Sunshine School: A New Vision for Education

Education is at a crossroads. While automation and AI rapidly transform the future of work, schools remain stuck in outdated models—prioritizing test scores and rote memorization over preparing children for the relational, emotional, and ethical challenges of life. The result is a crisis of meaning: student mental illness is rising, and too many graduates leave school credentialed but disconnected, anxious, and unprepared.

Sunshine School, an initiative of the Global Transformation Initiative (GTI), offers a different path. We believe relationships are the most vital curriculum. Through our trauma-informed frameworks—I.A.M.™ (Inform, Activate, Measure) and R-360-5™ —students learn trust, empathy, dignity, and resilience alongside academics.

GTI is working hand-in-hand with educators and curriculum developers to design a new vision for education—one that integrates relational wellness, human dignity, and trauma-informed practices directly into lesson plans, teacher training, and school culture.

Our goal is clear: to equip a generation of children not only to adapt to change but to lead it, creating healthier schools, workplaces, and communities—one relationship at a time.
